The beach is just over 4 km (2 miles) and is populated by many resorts, hotels, restaurants and shops to meet the needs of tourists staying in the area.Incidentally, Borocay has more than 300 resorts over 2000 style rooms ranging from five-star hotels and shelters in the budget for backpackers. Golfers will be pleased to know that Boracay is home to a world-class 18-hole par 72 golf course.Bulabog Beach, across the island from White Beach is a tourist beach secondary. This beach is a preferred place for windsurfing and kiteboarding because of its strong seasonal winds activities.When this is the best time to visit Boracay? Well, you can visit anytime Boracay, but some visitors May wish to visit the island for different remedies purposes.Catch the spectacular world-famous Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival in January. The festival is the Philippines version of Mardi Gras, which is celebrated on the third week of each January.If you just want to enjoy the beaches and the sea, then visit during Boracay "Amihan 'season. It was during the northeast monsoon season during the months of March to May when trade wind is at its highest which is very suitable for activities such as sailing, fishing big, scuba diving, board windsurfing and kite-boarding.The months from June to September are considered off-peak season, however, budget tourists and hikers consider this as the best time to visit Boracay so prices are at its lowest and there is little competition for this precious white sand beach grass plonk yourself to enjoy the sun. October marks the beginning of another peak season. Starting from October to December, the weather is cool and major sporting events usually take place at this time of year.
