It employs 110 five-gallon pails of water and 12000 pounds chiller unit to help keep the ice cold, and can accommodate up to 60 skaters at a time. Starting off the holiday in Las Vegas, Lake Las Vegas Resort welcomed its ceremonial tree lighting, with an appearance by Santa Claus and a musical performance by Green Valley Choir and Helen Joy Choir Friday, November 16.
